How to Create Your Book Project and Add It to the Publishing Queue

Follow these steps to create your book from start to finish inside ScribeLabs AI.

Log in to your ScribeLabs AI account

Enter your email and password, then log in.
Once you are logged in, you will arrive at your home page.


Start a new book project

Click New Book Project.
You will now see the book setup page.


Enter your book details

Fill in your book title.
Fill in your subtitle.
You can leave the author name blank if you want the system to use the name on your account.
If you want a different author name or pen name, enter it in the author space.


Choose your niche

Select the niche that matches your book topic.
For example, if your book is about gut health, choose the Gut Health and Microbiome niche.


Add your target audience

Enter who the book is for.
For example, you can write something like:
Adults who want to improve digestion, gut health, and daily wellness in a simple way.


Add your book description

Enter a short draft description of your book.
Do not worry if it is not perfect. You can improve it later inside ScribeLabs AI.


Click Next

After entering the basic book details, click Next.


Add or discover keywords

You can enter your own keywords if you already have them.
You can also leave the keyword area blank for now and allow ScribeLabs AI to suggest keywords later.


Generate book ideas

Click Generate so ScribeLabs AI can suggest book ideas based on your title, niche, and description.
When the ideas appear, read through them and choose the one you like best.
Click Use on the book idea you want.


Review the outline

ScribeLabs AI will now show you a book outline.
Open the outline and review the chapters.
You can keep the outline as it is.
You can also move chapters, delete chapters, or add a new chapter if you want.
When you are happy with the outline, continue to the next step.


Generate the manuscript

Click Generate Manuscript.
ScribeLabs AI will now write the book for you.
When it is done, you will see a preview of the manuscript.


Review the manuscript

You can open the full editor if you want to make changes.
You can also save and exit if you want to come back later.
If you are happy with the manuscript, continue to the next step.


Complete your book details

Make sure your book has all 7 keywords filled in.
Choose Category 1.
Choose Category 2.
Check your book price.
Review your book description.
You can write the description yourself, or you can use ScribeLabs AI to improve it.


Go to the final review page

On the final review page, check that your book details are complete.
This is also where you can create your book cover without using extra credits.


Create the cover files

From your project home page, click Create Cover.
Scroll down.
Click Generate Full Wrap PDF.
Wait for the cover files to be created.
Then click Back to Project.

Check the cover files

Scroll down on the project page.
You should see your cover files.
Cover Front means the 6 by 9 image for the electronic version of your book.
Cover Full Wrap means the print cover with the front, back, and spine.


Add the book to the Publishing Queue

After the manuscript and cover files are ready, look at the top right side of your screen.
You should see Add to Queue.
Click Add to Queue.


View your queued book

Click Publishing Queue.
You will now see the books that have been added to the queue.
